Are you writing a novel, biography or collection of poetry?

For a number of years, Afric has worked as a freelance editor for publishing houses in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Ireland. She has now set up a writers' consultancy for writers of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

FORTHCOMING WORKSHOPS

Are you interested in exploring your potential as a writer?

Afric runs regular fiction and poetry workshops. This autumn, she will be running a poetry course on Wednesday evenings.

Poems will be studied for their form, tone of voice, ideas, language, imagery, metaphor, elements such as alliteration, assonance, rhyme, rhythm. Students will also create original poems using these elements.
